Refutation to the La-Madhhabi Article: “The Sufi Gaze !!!”

To deceive the masses about ‘Ulama e Deoband the spiritually barren La-Madhhabi’s never leave anything behind, In yet another article of deception posted at where they’ve attempted to slander the scholars of Deoband and the karaamaat’s (miracles) of the pious ‘Auliya, the La-Madhhabi shaitaan has averred:
(                The Sufi Gaze !!!

  Below are some powers attributed to the sufis of the Chisti Tariqah by Zakariya Khandlawee al-Deobandee al-Hanafee (Mashaikh-e-Chist, Eng.Trans. Saadiq publications)

Any person, on whom Hazrat (Nizamuddin Deen al-Umri) cast his gaze would become a Shahid-e-Shuhood immediately. (Shahid-Shuhood is a high ranking Wali those who dwell in a lofty state of Divine Presence and Perception – Translator of Mashaikh-e-Chist) (page.192, Saadiq publications)

By a gaze of Hazrat Abu Ahmad (Khawajah Abu Ahmad Abdaal Chisti), a man could be transformed into a performer of karaamat. (page.145, published Majlisul Ulama of South Africa)

Hazrat Shaykh Abdul-Haqq Quddus Gangohi cast a powerful gaze of Tawajjuh on Moulana Jalal Deen. In consequsnce, his entire treasure of knowledge was affected. (page.188, Saadiq publications)

His (Khawajah Moinud Deen Chisiti) gaze was sufficiant to transform a man into a Sahib-e-Marifat. (page.45, Saadiq publications)

Khawajah Moinud Deen Chist became ba’yt to Hazrat Uthmaan Haaruni, and by his virtue of Tawajjuh, Moinud-Deen Chishti attained perfection in sulook in a single day. (page.145, Saadiq publications)

Khawajah Moinud Deen Chisti once passed by an orchard of a hostile Shiah chief, who would kill any person who adopted the names, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthmaan. Moinud Deen Chisti sat near the pond. The Shiah appeaerd in a furious state intending to kill Moinud Deen Chisti. But when Hazrat glanced at him, the shiah fell down. When he gained his consciousness, he was a transformed person and a staunch follower. (page.147, Saadiq publications)


The Prophet’s ( ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) uncle Abu Talib was within sight of the Prophet ( ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ), but he was not able to bring him to Islaam and Allaah said to him ( ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ):

“Indeed, you (Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ ) guide not whom you like, but Allaah guides whom He wills. And He knoes best those who are the guided” (Qur’aan 28:56)

Furthermore, the son of Nuh ( ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ) and the father of Ibraheem ( ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ) were within sight of these great Prophets, but they were unable to guide them.

Do the Deobandi’s believe in every tale without asking why the Prophets did not have these powers? ”          [End of the Deception])


La-Madhhabi’s prove by posting such silly allegation that they are truely  morons. They’re denying the validity of karaamat of such pious servants of Allah.

The Karaamaat of the Auliya are the Haqq. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had performed thousands of Mu’jizaat.

The fact that Abu Talib did not
embrace Islam is because Allah Ta’ala had decreed kufr for him. No Tawajjuh, no Mu’jizah and no Karaamat can change Allah’s Taqdeer.

Those who were guided by the Tawajjuh of the Auliya, were such
persons for whom Allah Ta’ala had ordained Imaan and khair.

Whilst they changed certain people with Tawajjuh, their Tawajjuh could not change thousands of others for whom Hidaayat was not ordained.

To deny the karaamaat of the Auliya on the basis that Rasulullah
(Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) did not perform that same miracle, is
moronic. Auliya had even flown in the air and transformed stones into gold. This cannot be denied on the basis that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) did not effect such specific miraculous acts.


Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) on the Miracles of Saints

“It is said that after the Seal of Prophets (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), revelation does not descend upon anyone else. Why not?? In fact it does, but then it is not called ‘revelation.’ It is what the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) referred to when he said, ‘The believer sees with the Light of God.’ When the believer looks with God’s Light, he sees all things: the first and the last, the present and the absent. For how can anything be hidden from God’s Light? And if something is hidden, then that is not the Light of God. Therefore the meaning of revelation exists, even if it is not called revelation.”

Ibn Taymiyyah continues in the same book, Majmu’a Fatawa Ibn Taymiyya :

“What is considered as a miracle for a saint is that sometimes the saint might hear something that others do not hear or see something that others do not see, not while asleep, but in a wakened state of vision. He can know things that others cannot know, through revelation or inspiration.”

In another book, Mukhtasar al-Fatawa al-Masriyya, published by al-Madani Publishing House, 1980, page 603, he writes:

“The miracles of saints are absolutely true and correct, and acknowledged by all Muslim scholars. The Qur’an has pointed to it in different places, and the Hadith of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) have mentioned it, and whoever denies the miraculous power of saints are innovators or following innovators.”

Imam Ibn Taymiyya mentions in Al Majmua Fatwa Ibn Taymiyya , page 190:

“A servant of Allah, Almighty and Exalted, cannot be considered a saint unless he is a true believer. Allah mentions in Qur’an, Surat Yunus, 62-63: “Now surely, on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve; those who believe and guard against evil.”

He then quotes the famous hadith from Sahih Bukhari:

“My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.”

He explains the phrase, “Whoever comes against one of My saints is challenging Me to fight” thus: “It means that Allah is expressing: ‘I will seek revenge against anyone who comes against My saints like an aggressive lion.’” (p. 314)
He said (volume 11, page 313): “Allah Almighty will unveil to his saints states that have never been unveiled before and He will give them support without measure. If that saint begins to speak from the things of the unseen, past or present or future, it is considered from the viewpoint of Bab al- ilm al-khariq , miraculous knowledge. Anything that a saint does which is from the unseen, for people or for listeners, of healing or teaching knowledge, it is accepted and we must thank Allah for it.”

He continues quoting the Prophet’s saying about the saints: “You are the witnesses of Allah on earth.”

Which can be read: 3:18 Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge – [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.


The La-Madhhabis pick statements of the events of Karaamaats and Kashf’ of Auliya from the treatises of Ulama e Haqq and label it as the beliefs of Ulama e Deoband and make insults of the pious Auliya of this ummat, their ‘ulama have compiled many treatises against karaamats and Kashf, especially against the book Fadha’il e A’maal. They narrate the events of Auliya from our books and claim that these are the beliefs of Ulama e Deoband  and make slanderous conclusion that beliefs of both Deobandis and Ahle Shirk (Barelwi’s) are one and the same.

If they had the intention of targetting our beliefs, they should’ve bought proofs specifically from the treatises of Aqaa’id compiled by our scholars of truth where they search to find statements like for example: “Auliya had the knowledge of Ghayb (unseen)” or “Even Auliya are deemed for help”  etc etc. But in reality, they couldn’t find anything like that from our books of beliefs, so they targetted the books compiled on the events of the kashf and karaamaats of Auliyaa ikram and began objecting and accusing us that those statements contained in the stories of Auliya are the beliefs of Deobandi scholars. Now lets take a look at their own book compiled by their own scholar who are accusing us of having such aqaa’id’s (beliefs)

Usually one could observe from the articles, lectures of the La-Madhhabi Jahils that they always make the treatises of others as their primary targets for slandering and thereby, deceiving laypersons by mis-representing the views of Ulama e Haqq but they themselves don’t bother to have a look at their own book written by their La-Madhhabi scholars, till today we have never viewed any such posts from La-Madhhabi blogs like or etc etc extracting statements from the treatises containing the episodes of the kashf and Karaamaat of their own scholars of Ahle Hadith and thereby criticizing or insulting by presenting them as being the “Aqaai’d” of their own scholars, This exposes their double standards and cheap tactics to deceive the masses. They serve criticism for other scholars while hiding their own treatises compiled by their own scholars about the same events of Sufi Gaze and so on! If they’re not deceivers then we don’t know who they are!

In this piece of truth, we’ll discuss about one such book which the deceivers from the Ahle Hadith hide it from all of us.

A book which goes by the name “Karaamat e Ahle Hadith” whose editor is Maulana Abdul Majeed Sohdrawi, It is mentioned in the book named Fatawa Ulama e Hadees that: “Maulana Abdul Majeed was a great and respected scholar, a muqarrir and one of the most highly regarded amongst the Ahle Hadith sect. He dedicated his lifetime in service to Jamaat e Ahle Hadith. He compiled several treatises and he himself was the editor of those treatises, His book titled “Raahe Kaamil” is one of his best works and his love for the Prophet can be observed in it. He passed away in 1379 A.H” (Fatawa Ulama e Hadith, Volume 5, Page 79, scan below)


The Compilator of this book is a scholar of Ahle Hadith sect named Maulana Idrees Faruqi. Maulana Faruqi writes in Page 28 of the book karaamat e Ahle Hadith:

The occurence of Karaamaat through the means of Ghair e Ambiya is Haqq. Rejecting that is incorrect because this concept (of Karaamaat and Kashf) has been proved through the Qur’an and Ahadith” He says further, “presenting false kinds of karaamats and recording it in books or narrating it from the pulpit is incorrect. Instead of earning any good ot becomes a source of deviancy, beliefs of the people gets corrupted, Nabawi mission gets effected, then he cries avout the muqallideens and says: “Our Taqleedi brothers sometimes go against Qur’an and Hadith in an attempt to state fabricated karaamaats”


On page No. 29, He states: The main discussion in this book is those of karaamaats. Karaamaats defines sainthood and ‘azmat. Whenever Allah ta’ala wishes to increase the status of his beloved slaves (the Auliyaas), He blesses them with them with manifestations of Karaamaats. But before this, one has to remember certain points, Then he states 10 points regarding true karaamaats and fabricated or fake karaamaats, In point no. 8 he says: Just like narrating fabricated Hadiths, False narrations, fake dreams are sins, similarily, Narrating false and fabricating karaamaats too are sinful. After stating the 10 points he avers regarding the present-day deceivers who fool people with false karaamaats:

“Nowadays, people never recognize between karaamaat (miracles and supernatural occurences through people of Taqwa blessed by Allah Ta’ala) and Istedraaj (Occurrence of miracle through magicians deceivers done by the help of Devils) and whomever they wish, they take them as a wali of Allah and they accept anything as true karaamat. (Karaamaat e Ahle Hadith, Page 29-30)


Atlast he declares: So people with deficency in knowledge and out of Jihaalat (ignorance) have made it famous that Ahle Hadith sect neither consists of any saints nor nor any Saahib e karaamat, such people should remove their view of ignorance and go through this book with open heart and decide for themselves as to how much sincerity is left in their claim (that there are no people of karaamaat in Ahle Hadith sect, original scan below)


With these statements of Maulana Muhammad Idrees Saheb, we understand that fabricated karaamaats or narrating karaamaat which goes against Qur’an wa Hadith is sinful, neither such karaamaats will be written down in this book (i.e Karaamaat e Ahle Hadith) nor will be narrated in pulpits of Masaajids, narrating fake karaamaats are prohibited.
So this again confirms that Maulana Idrees Sahab has never written down any reports of false karaamaats which goes against Qur’an wa Hadith in his book. So, the Karaamaats mentioned in this book are true and all in all exclusively related to the karaamaats of the shaykhs of Ahle Hadith sect!

Now let’s relate a couple of  “Sufi Gaze” type of karaamaats narrated from the book of their own scholars to those who giggle at the same karaamaat mentioned in our books:


Once a Drunkard, Drug Addict beggar approached Maulana Abdur Rahman Sahab. This beggar was clean shaved, had lengthy moustache, his face was against the Sunnah, he used to sing and beg from the Maulana. Maulana Saheb instructed one of his shagird (student) to offer 1 paisa to the beggar, the beggar said: “Maulana, what can be afforded from in 1 Paisa?? Give me some more, neither i could get bhaang nor Charaas” (Wine-like stuff and charaas is a type of drugs)

Maulana Saheb asked: “You need something more??” And just when Maulana’s sight met the sight of the beggar, he started to shiver and fell down. And he fell down in such a way that he lost his consciousness, the students proceeded to grab hold of him , he was unconscious like as if he is dead.

After 3 hours he gained his consciousness. Maulana asked him, “what do you need??” The beggar replied: “I’ve already taken whatever i needed, now just convert me to Islam” Maulana called for a barber and shaved the beggar’s lengthy moustache. He repented from his drinking habits and taking drugs and started to study with the Maulana. Later he became an ‘Aalim Sufi and served Maulana Saheb for 18 years. A Sikh Woman converts to Islam :

Muhammad Umar narrates that Molana Gulam Rasool was on his way to home after the morning prayers, Even I accompanied him, On the way, a Sikh Woman was reciting “Waahe guru, Waahe Guru” as she was walking by, Maulana said to her, “Not Waahe Guru but recite “WAHDAHU”, and it is the truth, By the Will of Allah, she began to recite “Wahdahu, Wahdahu”, this words began to flow from her in such a way that even after a thousands of attempts to stop it , she failed, atlast she converted to Islam” (Karamat e Ahle Hadees, Page : 75) Scan:-



If the same kind of incidents are quoted in our books, the answer and clarification for it is as the same as what the author of this very book Karaamaat e Ahle Hadith has given for such incidents of Pious people (which i quoted above), we accept that such incidents are related to Kashf and Ilhaam and Karamaat of the saints  . But these la-Madhhabi’s who do taqleed of blogs like or people like Meraj Rabbani ,who have gone so astray that they deny true karaamaats which, in reality is Haqq according to their own  book! 

Indeed, these people are imitators of the Jews, while the Jews had doubts on their own Prophets and they killed them,the La-Madhabi’s have doubts upon the miracles of the Auliya’s of Islam! And they keep bashing our scholars without  Haqq.

Had this events been narrated by any scholar of Deoband, then these la-Madhhabi sect bloggers (a.k.a deceivers) would’ve made a big fuss of it with the intent of deceiving laypersons as they have made an attempt with the statements of the book Mashaaikh e chist.

May Allah Ta’ala save all of us from the lies and deceptions of such people and their misleading sects . Aameen!
