How Samarkhand was Conquered

Samarkand is a great country located in North Asia. It has green mountains, hills and forests that you can never imagine. Samarkand is a city filled with gold and silver, silk, porcelain and natural resources. People of Samarkand used to worship idols they made of jewelry. They placed these gods in a temple in the mountains. The temple was specifically made for senior monks, and there were a lot of small temples in the center of Samarkand.

In that era, Muslims were ruled by a Caliph who was an example because of his good manners, piety and fear of God. He had many of the attributes of his grandfather, the second caliph Al-Farooq ‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah bless him. He governed a huge country which never had been ruled by anyone, not even by the Persian Chosroes, Roman Caesars or Hakan. His kingdom extended from China to the Atlantic Ocean. His wife Fatima, the daughter of Caliph ‘Abd al-Malik and also the sister of Caliph Sulaiman, was the most honorable woman of her time as seven males of her relatives had been rulers. He was the Caliph ‘Umar ibn Abdul Aziz.

The Islamic army was under a commander who was very seasoned and merciful. His name was Qutaybah ibn Muslim. When the Islamic army led by him reached the outskirts of Samarkand, he ordered it to go to the mountain behind the city because he didn’t want the people of Samarkand to see them. The Muslim army attacked the city. The battalions behind the mountains attacked as if they were a hurricane. They reached the centre of Samarkand without resistance. The monks had fled to the great temple in the mountains and hid in their homes. People of Samarkand didn’t go out of their home for fear of the Muslims, but for Muslims, the situation was stable.

Slowly the people of Samarkand began to come out of their homes to fetch water and food. They started sending their young children to perform these tasks and the Muslims didn’t trouble them. Instead, the Muslim helped them to fetch the food and water. The children entered their homes with happiness. This situation began to spread feelings of trust and tranquility in the hearts of the people of Samarkand. As a result, people returned to their shops, farms and properties after some time. They found them intact – same as they had left, nothing more or less. The normal life returned between Muslims and people of Samarkand. They found that Muslims are faithful in their business and dealings; they did not lie or cheat. This impression rose when two persons quarreled. One of them was from the people of Samarkand, and the other was a Muslim. They went to the judge who favoured the man from Samarkand.

The news reached the runway monks in the mountain temple. They said if this was their judgment, then they must have a fair ruler. They ordered their men to go to the ruler of the Muslims  and tell him what happened.

A young man went out. When he arrived at Damascus, he was full of fear. He saw a large palace. He told himself that this is the palace of their leader, but he saw people enter and exit without being stopped by a guard or soldier. He encouraged himself to enter this palace. It turned out to be the “Umayyad Mosque.” It was studded with precious gems, ornaments and majestic minarets. People knelt down in this wonderful place. He saw Muslims praying together and was surprised to see how those people were sitting and how they lined up quickly.

He stood up after the prayer and asked a Muslim about the palace of the ruler: “Where is your leader?” That Muslim told him  he was the man who led the prayer. Didn’t you see him? He said: no. The Muslim told him: “Did you pray with us?” He said: “What is prayer?” The Muslim said: It is worshipping the Almighty Allah alone and becoming obedient to Him without any partner. The Muslim asked him: “Are you not a Muslim?” He said: no. The Muslim smiled and asked him: “What is your religion?” He said: “the religion of the priests of Samarkand”. The Muslim asked: “What is their religion?” He said: “They worship idols.” The Muslim told him: We are Muslims. We worship God only.

He described the caliph’s home to him. The man went to that place and found an old clay house and an old man who was mending the wall. His clothes were full of mud. He went back to the mosque and told that Muslim that was making fun of him. “I asked you about your leader’s place and you sent me to a poor man mending his wall,” he said.

The young Muslim came with the stranger to that house and told him, “this is the Emir who is mending his wall.” The stranger said, “don’t make fun of me.” The Muslim swore by Allah and said, “This is our leader”. The stranger from Samarkand remembered the priests and how they were so proud that they did not easily talk to their people.

While the stranger still stood surprised, a woman came with her son and asked the Caliph to increase her share of grant from the treasury because she had many children. Suddenly, the son of the woman hit the Caliph’s son and hurt him. They fought over a small toy. The Caliph’s wife hurried towards her son and carried him away, shouting at the woman. The Caliph bandaged his son’s head, and went out to the woman and calmed her down and took the toy from his own son and gave it to the woman’s son. Then he told her to go to the Treasurer and say that he can increase her money.

The Caliph’s wife said, “her son hit your son and then you raise her money”. The Caliph told her, “you frightened her, and the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said that whoever frightens a Muslim Allah will frighten him on the Day of Resurrection.” He then went to complete the repair of his wall.

The young man from Samarkand was surprised at what he saw.  He dared and moved forward to ‘Umar ibn Abdul Aziz and said: You are the Emir of the Muslims?. The Caliph Omar answered, “Yes, and what’s your business?” The young man replied, “I have a complaint about Qutaybah ibn Muslim.”

The young man completed his story: Samarkand priests sent me and they told me that it’s from your traditions that when you conquer any country, you make them choose one from three things: invite them to Islam, ask them to pay tribute and in the event of their refusal of both the choices you give them the choice of war. The Caliph said: Yes, this is our custom, and every country has the right to choose among the three. The young man said, “Is it in your custom to start the assault by surprise?” The Caliph said: “It is not our custom to do so and Allah Almighty has ordered us not to do so, and our Prophet forbade us from being unjust.” The young man said, “Qutaybah ibn Muslim did not do what you say and his army attacked us by surprise.”

When the Caliph heard that Qutaybah did not make any suffer offer and it was not his habit to listen to only one side. He decided to write to the governor of Samarkand. He wrote a few lines, and ordered the young man to take it to the governor of Samarkand who will remove the injustice which has taken place there.

The young man returned from Damascus to Samarkand wondering about what a paper can do in front of the swords of Qutaybah ibn Muslim! When he arrived at Samarkand, he gave the paper to the priests who told him in return: take it to the Governor to do what’s written in it. The young man went to the governor and gave him the letter. The governor was surprised noticing the seal on the letter. He read the letter which contained the following: “To the governor of Samarkand, peace and mercy of God be upon you. Appoint a judge between the priests of Samarkand and Qutaybah ibn Muslim… put yourself in the place of Qutaiba.”

The Caliph didn’t want to distract Qutaiba from his duties and defence activity. The Governor could not do anything except obey what was written in the letter. He appointed a judge quickly. The judge selected a day to meet in the mosque and ordered the priests to be present during the meeting. He ordered the people as well to come in the presence of Qutaybah ibn Muslim. The judge did not like to hear the case in the absence of Qutayba who was at the time a very strong commander. He was the head of the most powerful army in the world at the time. Qutaybah had reached China continuing his  conquests. But the judge ordered him to return, and he did return after two days.

When the priests knew that Qutaybah has returned, they became very fearful. Qutaybah entered the mosque and put his sword and took off his shoes. The judge told him to sit next to his opponent. The priest stood up and said: Qutaybah ibn Muslim entered our country without warning us. He didn’t give us warning nor gave us the options of invitation to Islam or payment of tribute or war. Instead, he attacked us without warning. The judge turned to the commander Qutaybah ibn Muslim and asked him, “what do you say about this complaint.” Qutaiba said: “war is a trick. This country is a great obstacle to us and all those who were like it did not resist to pay tribute and did not want to enter Islam, and had we fought them, they would have killed more of us than we would have killed from them.” He continued, “And by the help of Allah and surprise, we defended Muslims from great harm and the history is witness to what I say. And all the countries beyond them became easy to conquer. Yes, we surprised them but rescued them and let they know about Islam.” The judge said: “Qutaybah! Did you invite them to Islam, tribute or war?” Qutaybah replied,  “no, we surprised them for what I told you before.” The judge said: “Qutaybah, you confessed and by this the court’s duty ends. Qutaybah, Allah supports this nation only by religion and by avoiding treachery, and setting up justice. We were out of our homes for jihad for Allah’s sake. We didn’t go out to conquor lands and occupy countries unjustly.”

Then the judge issued his ruling: “I rule that all armies of Muslims in this country should get out of this country and give it back to its people and give them the opportunity to prepare for war, and then make them choose between Islam, tribute or war. If they chose  war then we will fight. Muslims will get out of Samarkand without anything just as they entered and deliver the city to its people, and that is the application of the law of Almighty Allah and the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him”.

After this, Muslims started to leave the city. The judge came out in front of the priests. The priests did not believe what they were seeing. The people of Samarkand kept watching Muslims until they all went out of their city.

The young priest said, “what they did proves that their religion is the right. I witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger.” Now all the priests pronounced that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger and entered Islam.This is the story of the greatest court in the history. Islam, Killings, Barbarity and Justice

THE PURPOSE OF ISLAM

Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) came with the mission of Islam for o­ne single purpose, viz. the salvation of mankind. This purpose was the guiding factor the forgiveness which was granted to the Mushrikeen o­n the day of the Conquest of Makkah.

Inspite of the oppression, persecution and torture which the Mushrikeen of Makkah had perpetrated o­n the Muslims for 13 years, everything was forgiven and forgotten when Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and his noble Sahaabah entered Makkah as victors. There was no vengeance, no molestation and no acrimony. There was no need to establish any truth commission or put anyone o­n trial for the horrendous atrocities which had been committed against the Muslims in the past.

Islam came for the everlasting salvation of mankind, hence its Message is directed to all human beings. It is this overriding objective of Islam which precluded the commission of acts of revenge when Makkah was conquered.

Thus the Jihad of Islam is to open up the path for the propagation of the Message of Salvation. Its aim is not to destroy humankind. The example of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the Sahaabah is adequate for the true Believers.

While it is of the imperative acts of non-Muslim conquerors to unleash horror and terror, rape and plunder o­n the vanquished foe, Islam follows an opposite direction. When the enemy is conquered and defeated in the battlefield, there is no wanton pillage and killing.

Muslims who indulge in such misdeeds are not ambassadors of Islam nor do they have an understanding of the goals and purpose of Islam. Islam can be presented to the kuffaar o­nly by the presentation of the example and character of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and his Sahaabah. This was the original method of Tableegh and Da’wah. Large scale conversion to Islam in the conquered territories was a direct effect of the sterling character of the Sahaabah.

INDISCRIMINATE KILLINGS

Islam has come for the everlasting salavation of humankind — not merely for worldly success and safety. The true life is the existence in the Hereafter. Without Islam, this goal cannever be attained. Entire mankind is the target of Islam’s mission of Da’wat and Tableegh.

All people are the makhlooq  (creation) of Allah Ta’ala, and the message of the Qur’aan has been dispatched to earth for everyone’s benefit. But Islam cannot be presented to all people if they are alienated by atrocities which are unleashed in the name of Islam.

Indiscriminate killing of people in the name of Islam or Jihad is not advocated by the Shariah. Those who indulge in indiscriminate killing of Allah’s makhlooq are bereft of Imaani understanding and the maqsad [purpose] of Rasulullah’s mission.

While indiscriminate killing of people, including women and children, torture, rape, pillage and plunder are the usual acts of horror of the kuffaar, the followers of Islam are not allowed to emulate such tactics.

The torture in the prisons of Iraq, in Guantanamo Bay, in the prisons of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Russia and elsewhere are acts which are exclusive with those who have no true belief in Allah and the Aakhirah. If Muslims succeed in conquering these debaucherers, torturers, sadists and sub-human specimens of mankind, it will not be permissible to recipocrate with brutality as is the practice of the kuffaar.

Islam is an extremely lofty and celestial system of life. It has no room for the ways and tactics of kufr which are all spawned by shaitaan. All systems of Islam are divine. The demarcations of these lofty systems are clearly defined by the Shariah. Muslims are not permitted to transgress the limits of the Shariah regardless of the harm and hurt they had suffered at the hands of the savages and barbarians.

BARBARISM

It is the obligation of a conquering Muslim nation to eliminate the barabarism of the barbarians. The aim is not to eliminate the barbarians. The barbarians have to be transformed into human beings so that their everlasting salvation in the Aakhirah is assured. That was what Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had achieved. No nation had ever succeeded in transforming barbarians into human beings. This was the distinction of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).

Muslim May Not Reciprocate with Barbarity

In the Qur’aan Majeed Allah Ta’ala states:

“Do not let hatred for a community induce you to transgress (the limits) because they (the mushrikeen) had prevented you from Musjidul Haraam.” [Surah Ma’idah, aayat 2]

The Sahaabah were extremely annoyed and agitated when the Mushrikeen of Makkah had prevented them from performing Umrah in the year 6 A.H. The terms of the peace treaty of Hudaibiyyah were absolutely humiliating for the Muslims.

Besides this episode, there were several other incidents which had augmented the hatred for the Mushrikeen. Some Sahaabah were contemplating revenge. It was o­n this occasion that the aforementioned Qur’aanic verse was revealed.

THE LIMITS

In this aayat Allah Ta’ala forbids vengeance. He prohibits Muslims from compensating persecution with persecution, torture with torture, injustice with injustice. The aayat states with great clarity that Muslims should not allow their hatred for any community to cause them to transgress the limits of the Shariah.

Those who had persecuted and tortured Muslims were forgiven and accepted within the fold of Islam. Islam had come for their salvation in the Aakhirah. Their past misdeeds were not set up as a barrier for their entry into the fold of Islam. Islam does not propagate the concept of truth commissions and similar institutions. It acts in the best interests of mankind. There is nothing better for people than their everlasting salvation in the Hereafter.

JUSTICE

Islam is a Deen of justice and compassion. Hadhrat Mufti Muhammad Shafi (rahmatullah alayh) states in his Maaariful Qur’aan:

The Qur’aan Kareem teaches fairplay and justice for both friend and foe. All are equal in this respect. Regardless of how brutal your enemy was and how much he had persecuted you, it is your obligation to treat him with justice. Islam is unique in this. This is the speciality of Islam. It safeguards the rights of even enemies. Islam does not compensate injustice with injustice. It responds with justice.

Killing Everyone is not Jihad

There is a strong, marked similarity between the establishment of the Saudi Arabian Salafi regime and the so-called ‘caliphate’ in Iraq. That similarity is that the fathers who gave birth to these two vile, illegitimate regimes are western Kuffaar. While the Saudi regime was established by Britain, the so-called caliphate in Iraq is the creation of the U.S.A. Every unbiased intelligent searcher of the Truth understands these facts of reality without the slightest difficulty.

When the Saudi regime was created on the ashes and ruins of the displaced Uthmaani (Ottoman) Khilaafate, the Saudi regime was given the green light by Britain to rule by the Shariah, and now that the U.S.A. has brought into existence the bogus ‘caliphate’ in Iraq, it has given the puppet caliph the green light to operate his version of the Shariah.

It should be understood that no puppet ‘Muslim’ regime can endure with only kuffaar monetary and military support. The fundamental requisite for enduring sustainment of a regime, the imperative need is foot soldiers on the ground. Without this support, the regime will not last. The only reservoir from which to draw such support is the ignorant masses. And, the method to gain a fighting ground force is to dangle the bait of Islam – the establishment of a Shariah state for which Jihad is necessary. But this bait is a vile chimera which stupid Muslims acting on emotion swallow.

The slogan of Jihad attracts Muslims. Jihad throbs in the hearts of Muslims. He in whose heart there is no Jihad is a munaafiq according to the Hadith. Thus, the Jihad slogan attracts Muslims like a magnet. Since the recruits are generally morons, they are unable to apply their minds constructively for ascertaining if the call is a genuine Call of Jihad, or a vile plot of the kuffaar to advance their global interests.

Ignorant, hence unable to distinguish between right and left, the juhala among the awaam acting purely on the basis of emotion, plunge into the cauldron of deception and conspiracy to further the  sinister objectives of the kuffaar, in this case of the bogus ‘caliphate’, the objectives of the U.S.A.

The other similarity between the creation of the two Salafi regimes – the Saudi regime and now the Baghdadi bogus ‘caliphate – is the common factor of brutality. Both these Salafi regimes resorted to mass massacres of Muslims, and Mr. Simon’s ‘caliphate, added non-Muslims to the list. According to the Saudi Salafis whom Britain had installed in Arabia, all non-Salafi  Muslims are kuffaar. They are mubaahud dam (their blood is halaal), and their women folk can be enslaved and taken for baandis.

The Saudi barbarians massacred thousands of Muslims. It was on the blood of Muslims that the Saudi Bedouins raised their ‘Islamic’ state. Thus, Allaamah Shaami said about the Saudi Salafis:

“……In our age, the followers of  Abdul Wahhaab who emerged from Najd, overwhelmed the Haramain and pretended to be the followers of the Hambali Math-hab, but in reality, they believed that only they are Muslims, and whoever opposes their beliefs are mushrikoon. Thus, they regarded as lawful killing the Ahlus Sunnah and killing their Ulama….”

Whilst the external facade of the Saudi Islamic state flaunted certain laws of the Shariah such as public floggings, beheadings, Hijaab, enforcement of Salaat, etc. they were actually the puppets of Britain in particular and of the kuffaar West in general. The seeds which Britain had sown and nourished are today in full bloom. Look at the condition of the ‘islamic’ state of Saudi Arabia and the backyard satellite Gulf States – all competing to out-westernized the West.

Just as the Saudi  regime  unleashed a reign of terror on Muslims by wholesale killing, so too  has ISIS duplicated the Saudi massacres by  large scale killing of  non-Salafi Muslims, and even Salafi Muslims of its own breed and creed, namely the members of Jabhatun Nusrah whose adversary the puppet ‘caliph’ had become after his renege  from that organization. The brutal achievements of ISIS are:

(1) Killing Iraqi Muslims (non-Salafis) who had refused to take the bay’t (oath of allegiance) at the hands of ‘Caliph’ Obama’s deputy, Mr. Simon alias ‘Bagdhadi’.

(2) Killing Kurd Muslims who are primarily Hanafis.

(3) Killing and uprooting the entire  Yazidi non-Muslim population which had inhabited  Iraq  for thousands of years including the entire duration of the four  periods of Islamic Khilaafate, viz., Khilaafat-e-Raashidah, Bani Umayya (the Omayyide Dynasty), Abbaasi Khilaafate (The Abbasides) and Uthmaani Khilaafate (Ottomans).

(4)  Killing and uprooting the Cjhristian population which had also enjoyed Muslim patronage since the very inception of Islamic Rule in Iraq from the time of Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu).

(5)  The current concentration of  ISIS killing is Jabhatun Nusrah.

(6)  Luring young foreign Muslim girls to join its rubbish U.S. created  movement. This is one of the most despicable, cowardly exploits of ISIS. They claim to be the establishers of Shariah Law, yet they  lure young girls to flee from their homes – to abandon their parents and to travel withoutmahaareem. Only the slaves of carnal lust will degenerate to such a vile ebb of immorality. Their total moral and spiritual bankruptcy is well advertised by this shaitaani achievement.

The facts on the ground loudly testify that there is no Jihad in the Syrian-Iraqi arena today. Who is killing and who are being killed?  Muslims are killing Muslims. The  primary fight is now between ISIS and Jabhatun Nusrah. ISIS is killing only Muslims. As long as Jabhatun Nusra is not neutralized, ISIS will not be able to establish a viable American ‘caliphate’.

While the American puppet with his rodomontade attitude threatens to invade Spain and go after his creator, Obama – all said to befool morons – not a word is said about aiding Hamas or fighting the Yahood and freeing Baitil Maqdis. They do not even breathe a word about Baghdad right on their doorstep.

American aid for ISIS via Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and collusion with Assad of Syria, are open secrets. Even western kuffaar anti-Islam experts acknowledge that ISIS is a U.S. creation. Precisely for this reason has America withheld from any action against ISIS. If  ISIS was not an America’s puppet,  the ISIS capital of Raqqa would have been reduced to ruins by America just as it had done to the Kurd town of Kobane. But Raqqa is intact and flourishing, and that is where stupid foreigners find comfort. If ISIS was anti-America, by today Raqqa would have been in ruins, and Mr. Simon would have been history. The skies over there would have been infested with American drones if this whole miserable lot of crank ISIS ‘jihaadis’ were not morons acting in furtherance of American conspiratorial designs.

There is no Jihad in Iraq and Syria. They are running backwards and forward like bandits and gangsters, killing one another within a cocoon with marked frontiers established by the U.S. The internecine Muslim fighting is going on like a seesaw to the glee and satisfaction of the kuffaar, and Israel in particular. They operate within a region defined by the U.S.

Is Killing Civilians True Jihad or ‘Jihad’ of Deviant Sects??

For a proper understanding of this topic and the Islamic Ruling for it, it is necessary to first understand the purpose of Islam. Why did Allah Ta’ala dispatch Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) to earth with His Final Message, the Shariah of Islam??

SALVATION

There is no gainsaying the purpose of Islam is the salvation (Najaat ) of mankind in the Aakirah.

Islam came to extricate mankind from the morass of kufr, shirk, immorality and debauchery. It came to guarantee the everlasting success and pleasure of the Hereafter for Allah’ s makhlooq (creation—man and jinn). There is no other goal of Islam other than this one aim. This goal is achieved by means of Da’wat and Tableegh — propagating Islam to mankind. Entire mankind is the target of Islamic Da’wat and Tableegh . The ancestors of the more than a billion Muslims in the world were all Mushrikeen and kuffaar. Islam first came to the Arab nation. The Sahaabah carried the Message of this Deen to every corner of the world.

THE SWORD

The claim that the people of the world were forcibly converted to Islam is a historical fallacy and a gigantic slander. Undoubtedly, the Sword of Jihad served to conquer the lands of the kuffaar thereby clearing the pathway for Da’wat and Tableegh. The aim of gaining political domination of the lands of the kuffaar was never territorial or any other mundane considerations. The aim was solely to establish a free and friendly environment where Da’wat and Tableegh would find freeplay with no enemy forces to hinder its progress.

JIHAD

Jihad while essential and a fundamental requirement of Islam, is not an end in itself. It is a means for the acquisition of the higher and nobler aim of propagating the Deen to the creation of Allah Ta’ala so that all people could be saved from the everlasting damnation of the Hereafter. Jihad being the means for a great and noble achievement and goal, is therefore, a principled institution of Islam. It is an obligation regulated by numerous laws. It is not an act of anarchy and revenge perpetrated to brutalise mankind.

Brutalisation of Allah’s creatures is in fact an integral part of the character of the kuffaar. We observe its conspicuous manifestation today in Iraq,Syria, Palestine, Chechnya, Afghanistan and Kashmir. In the world of today, Americans, Britishers, Jews and Hindus, excel in the perpetration of state- terrorism — legalized terrorism — horror, torture and brutality.

Every day volumes of testimony pile up all over the globe to damn these kuffaar who excel in savagery against mankind in general and against Muslims in particular.

COMPULSION

Responding to the enemy claim that Islam was spread by the sword, the Qur’aan Majeed says: “There is no compulsion in Deen. ”

This is a specific negation of forcible conversion of non-Muslims to Islam. This aayat does not mean that the Islamic state may not utilize coercive power to compel Muslims to comply with the Shariah. The relevant Qur’aanic verse simply means that non-Muslims may not be converted by force because the repository of Imaan is the heart, and this receptacle of Belief cannever be converted by force. Only propagation, persuasion and display of sterling character can win over the hearts.

THE SAHAABAH

The very first group of Muballigheen who carried aloft the Message of Islam was the Sahaabah who had converted entire nations by active Tableegh, i.e. by means of their wonderful character. The paramount importance of Imaan is such that right in the battlefield if a defeated enemy who is on the verge of being slain by a Muslim blurts out the Kalimah — La- ilaha illa llaah— then it is haraam to slay him. His verbal proclamation of the Islamic formula of Imaan guarantees the safety of his life, honour and property even if he had uttered it merely to save his life while his heart remains filled with kufr.

SANCTITY

Human life is sacred. Molesting and harming the creatures—even the animals and inanimate objects — without valid Shar’i reason are evil acts strictly proscribed by Islam. The sanctity of human life is adequately borne out by the command of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) to the Sahaabah to refrain from killing women, children and all civilians who are not active participants in the war against the Muslim army waging Jihad.

KUFR

There is no greater crime in Islam than kufr and shirk. Yet, the Shariah prohibits the killing of mushrik and kuffaar priests and monks who are engaged in their baatil acts of worship. Islam prohibits a scorched earth policy. Even trees and crops may not unnecessarily be destroyed in Jihad campaigns.

THE ATTITUDE

If the goal of Islam and its institution of Jihad have been properly understood, then it will not be difficult to understand what the attitude of Muslims should be in Jihad and when dealing with non-Muslims. The very first objective of Jihad is Da’wat and Tableegh . If the audience or the targets of Islamic prop a gation are alienated by implanting hatred for Muslims in their hearts, the avenue of Da’wat and Tableegh will be sealed. How can a person who has been brutalized be asked to accept the religion of the brutaliser?? What will be the response and the attitude of such non-Muslims t o Da’wat and Tableegh if they have gained the impression that Islam advocates their extermination and allows horrendous methods of eliminating even women and children??

If the Sahaabah had adopted the tactic of massacre and brutality, would we today have been Muslims?? Our ancestors were Hindus, Buddhists,Christians and mushriks of a variety of persuasions. But today, we are proud to be Believers in Tauheed. If in the minds of the non-Muslims the idea is solidified that Islam advocates what is being transpired by killing non-muslims and muslims, is it possible to invite them to Islam and their everlasting Najaat in the Aakhirah??

INJUSTICES

Regardless of the injustices, the cruelty, the piracy and brutality which Christians (Americans and Britishers) are perpetrating and regardless of their conspiracy to eliminate Islam, we, the Torch-Bearers of true civilization and the Standard-Bearers of Tauheed and Hidaayah for Allah’s Makhlooq are not allowed by the Shariah to descend to the inhuman level to which the ISIS and others like Obama and Israel have sunk to

JUSTICE

Is it justice and an act of holy jihad to mutilate, maim and kill non-muslim civilians—men, women and children—as a punishment for the crimes committed by tyrants like Obama, Putin,Assad and Netanyahu?? By what Islamic criterion can any Muslim justify this horrible misdeed??

Furthermore, the majority of the non-Muslims had demonstrated against the invasion of Iraq . They had opposed their government which had supported the brutality in Iraq. The very ones who had opposed the American invasion have been dealt with mercilessly by some Muslims who do not have the faintest idea of the Islamic concept of Jihad. Millions of non-Muslims, all over the world, even in America and Britain , had marched in demonstrations in opposition to the invasion.

Innumerable non-Muslims in all non-Muslim countries are opposed to the murderous policies and criminal activities of Obama and Putin. What law now calls form meting out brutal treatment to such people?? It can never be Islamic law – never the Shariah of Islam.

ANARCHY

Muslims who commit such acts are westernized Muslims who have no understanding of Islam and its goals. They have inherited the attitude of barbarism from the west. Islam never teaches such inhumanity. Islam is a spiritual and a celestial culture embodying all the noble qualities. The atrocities which so-called westernized ‘mujahideen’ perpetrate in the name of Islam are never part of Islamic Jihad.

Those who are guilty of such horrendous misdeeds are the followers of Obama and Netanyahu and their institution of horrible torture, viz., the CIA and Mossad.

SABR

When Muslims lack the power to face and defeat the enemy on the battlefield of Jihad, they have to adopt Sabr, morally reform themselves and develop spiritually until the Nusrat of Allah Ta’ala arrives. The time will then be ripe for destroying the enemies on the battle-field to clear the path for the propagation of the Message of Allah Ta’ala in the endeavour to present Salvation in the Hereafter to Allah’s creatures.

Muslims should remember that torture and brutality should be left to Obama,Netanyahuand Putin. Muslims are not allowed by Islam to vie with butchers in their acts of butchery in which they murder tens of thousands of women and children in the most horrendous and cowardly way as is evidenced on a daily basis in Iraq,Palestine and Syria.

NOTHING TO DO WITH JIHAD

Introduction

forthcoming in this section is a compilation of articles which illustrate the huge difference between the lofty institution of Jihad and the murderous atrocities perpetrated by spiritually barren pseudo-Jihadis who, devoid of taqwa and waraa (abstinence from all doubtful matters and even some permissible matters), acquire enough room to justify their actions by loosening the reins of rigid adherence (taqleed) to one of the four accepted madh-habs (schools of thought codified over a millenium ago which comprise of all the rulings of Islam).

Modernists and Salafis of all breeds should take note that the very same slogans of “Quran and Hadith” that they themselves use to ‘reform’ or ‘modernise’ the religion, are also used by these pseudo-Jihadis to justify their ‘Jihad’, which effectively opens the door for each person to create a tailor-made version of ‘Islam’.

The natural consequence of granting any scope to scholars today to leave one of the four madh-habs for what is believed to be the ‘stronger ruling’, is unlimited versions of ‘Islam’, with each scholar absolutely convinced that his particular version is the Haqq (truth), no matter how mutated it may seem to others.

Those who hold a ‘softspot’ for modernist and Salafi breeds of their particular inclination, should realise that their ‘softspot’ is in fact Nifaaq (hypocrisy), according to the clear explicit statements of the Salaf-us-Saliheen who had adopted extreme harshness towards even the slightest of deviations in the Deen, and who regarded the potential danger of Baatil sects to be even worse than that of the Kuffaar.

The Ummah is not in need of Mushtabah (doubtful) and Haraam Asbaab (means). The clearly Halaal bounds of Allah’s glorious Shariah are more than sufficient to deliver victory to our doorsteps, no matter how limited and restricted such bounds may seem to our puny intellects colonized by the effects of materialism. The use of Mushtabah Asbaab (doubtful means) is, in fact, an open statement expressing a lack of Tawakkul (trust) in the clearly Halaal bounds set by Allah (azza wa jal). As a result Allah (azza wa jal) abandons us to our Asbaab (means) and withdraws his Nusrat (Divine Help) – a Nusrat without which all the means, weaponry, man-power, technology, etc. in the world will not be able to extricate the Ummah from its current state of abject humiliation.

Thus, while the Jihaad of the small band of Sahabah (radhiyallahu anhum) was met with resounding victory after victory, without barely any means whatsoever, eventually delivering the whole world into their hands within a few years, all Jihaad efforts of groups influenced by Salafis and modernists, over the past century, have ended in catastrophe after catastrophe.

May Allah (azza wa jal) inspire this downtrodden Ummah to submit to the pure orthodox Shariah completely, adopt Taqwa and Waraa’ in all matters, and thus be deserving of His (azza wa jal) Nusrat.
